12 participants - possible for beginners and progressing people in the area of the creation of homepages
Contents:
The participants become acquainted together with the structure of an own homepage. The results are to be published.

· Basics in HTML
· Where do I get Web space free of charge?
· Picture handling (Scans, Digi Cam, Web Cam, animated Gifs, animation and film sequences)
· Sound handling (creation of an own mood music)
· Handling and integration of Scripts (Java and CGI)
· Become acquainted with Internet as a medium for direct international exchange

Music Beak Dance
Number of participants:
6 - 8 patrticipants - who have fun at movement and dance. Previous knowledge is not necessary.
Contents: The basic techniques of the Break Dance will be taught. There is the possibility of transferring the learned immediately into the practice in small performances, which will be demonstrated then later to the total's group.
The participants should bring along sporty and comfortable clothes.
Music Hip Hop, disc jockey course
Number of participants
6 - 8 participants - who have fun at movement and dance and who would like to know techniques for the work as DJ.
Previous knowledge is not necessary.
Contents:
The basic techniques of the Hip Hop will be taught. There is the possibility of transferring the learned immediately into the practice in small performances, which will be demonstrated then later the total's group. The users should bring along sporty and comfortable clothes. The DJ course is created. Like this.
Photo workshop
To this workshop at present I have not exactly informations.
Probably planned is the creation of photostories, which will document the living together of the different cultures in Cologne. Likewise " tracks of Europe " are to be documented in Cologne long history.
Here also 6-8 participants can co-operate. Closer information I'll send you as soon as the group of preparation this submits.
Press workshop
To this workshop I also have not exact information.
They plan the creation of a page in a big Cologne daily paper, in which the participants can report from themselves, their origin and their idea of Europe.

Art - Graffiti
To this workshop too in the moment I have no exact information.
Probably planned is the artistic creation of a large surface, possible a railway waggon.

Video
Workshop organized by the WDR.
Number of participants:
20 participants (divided in 5 groups) from the Multimedia Camp and trainees of the WDR
Contents:
The video seminar for the trainees of the WDR has already tradition. Now we propose a video seminar with a mixed group of participants, of trainees and young people of 9 European countries. In the video seminar the production of short films will be done - theme: encounter of different cultures. The participants shoot 5 short films in little groups, in which they document their encounter as originally as possible. Under guidance of professional coaches from Cologne film house, except the cut, all production steps will be done with a high proportion of self-work. So the participants will have a view of the production of television films in the WDR.
Coach: Jochen Bentz, Cologne film house and 4 further external television coaches.
Radio
Workshop in the youth house Don Bosco club, in co-operation with the radio workshop Cologne

Contents:
In the radio seminar the production of short radio plays is made about the encounter of different cultures and the European idea. The participants create these radio plays under guidance of professional coaches. The results will be demonstrated at the final evening to the whole group and introduced also to the public in radio Cologne.
